Collinswood K-9 offers a variety of classes from Puppy Kindergarten and Beginner Obedience, through Competition Obedience, and Agility as well as Breed Handling and private lessons.
Beginner Obedience/Basic Behavior - 6 week class $125.00 Start right for the best from your dog.
Puppy Kindergarten —6 week course $125.00 (Puppies to be at least 10 weeks old and up to date with vaccinations.) Positive methods to set a solid foundation. Puppy behavior issues will be covered!
Beginner Agility —6 week course $125. Start your dog safely and with confidence in the sport!
Please note: This popular class is limited to 8 dog & handler teams!
Advanced Beginner Agility —6 week course $125. Continue on the right course with your beginner dog. This class will focus on Dog/Handler working relationship & polishing Obstacles. For graduates of Beginner Agility.
Intermediate Agility —6 week course $125 For dog/handler teams preparing for or competing at the Novice level. Dogs MUST be reliable off leash and able to complete small sequences.
Drop in Agility Advanced (No Beginners, please!) $20. / session $10. per extra dog
Note: Collinswood K-9 offers an ongoing drop in Agility Class for Advanced students on most Thursday late mornings. Please call if you haven’t been coming regularly to verify class availability!
Advanced Agility—4 week voucher (expires 2 months from date of issue) $85.00 Dogs in this class must be working in Open Level or above.
Currently there are no daytime classes available – if enrollment dictates they will be offered at a future date.
Betty Belliveau is the instructor for all the above classes. She is also available for Private lessons on either Tuesdays or Thursdays here at Collinswood K-9.

Breed Handling Classes are offered as a drop in class on Monday & Wednesday evenings. Monday’s class time is 7:00 – 8:00 p.m. and Wednesday is from 7:30 — 8:30pm . The cost is $15. for the first dog, $5.00 each additional dog. Our instructors are Miki Cooney, (Wednesday) a successful and known handler who has taught and professionally handled dogs for over 30 years. Jessica Plourde (Monday) had grown up through the ranks as a top rated Jr. Handler. Since making the move to professional handling, Jessica has shown many breeds to Top National Rankings achieving 3 AKC Best in Shows as well as 3 Canadian Bests!
