The Collinswood K-9 crew
Razz-Top dog around here is AKC/ASCA CH. Agile Collinswood Razzmatazz MX, AXJ. My first Aussie and the most wonderful dog I have ever owned! I purchased him from Laura Lynn Tanner, Agile Aussies, Elmira, New York.
I was looking for a dog I could have some fun in Agility with, as well as show in the Breed ring. Boy, did I hit the jackpot! Laura Lynn has been a great friend and mentor to me, and I couldn’t be more grateful to have Razz in my home.
Razz was owner handled to both his Championships, and was Specialed in 2004 by Jessica Plourde. She is a wonderful handler, coming up through the ranks as a Jr., she is very well schooled in the Conformation Ring. She treats Razz as if he were her own, and he loves to be with her as well. Together they have achieved a National Ranking of #10 Australian Shepherd last year. I’m so proud of them both, I could burst! Razz is back home with me full time this year so we can concentrate on Agility. Jessica can be reached at jplourde21@cox.net
Razz has also excelled in Agility, our favorite sport. Most of his Qualifying runs have been in the ribbons (as can be witnessed by my office walls), and he’s progressed through the ranks so quickly, mom has trouble keeping up! We will be participating once again, however, in On Course for Kids in Boston in December. This Agility Fundraiser benefits the Floating Hospital’s Children’s Cancer Center and more information can be found at: http://www.dogsofcourse.com/fundraisers/on_course_for_kids.htm
Razz is currently standing at Stud to approved bitches.

Belle- a.k.a. Highlyn’s Belles N Whistles, currently the only Rottweiler in a household which used to be dominated by them! I’ve owned and loved Rotties for over 25 years, and this girl is truly something special. Belle was bred by my good friend, Lynn McNally of Highlyn Rottweilers. Currently, Belle is being campaigned by Jessica, and only needs one major to finish her AKC Championship. Then the task of looking for a suitable husband for my girl will be mine…
Deuce- AKC Ch. Vinelake Collinswood Yablon, finished her AKC Championship at the young age of just over a year at the prestigious Wine Country Circuit this fall. Doing it in style with (2) 5 point Majors among very impressive competition, this girl has movement the Judges can’t ignore. She was bred by Sandy Johanson of Vinelake Australian Shepherds. http://www.vinelakeaussies.com
Deuce is now training for Agility, as well as occasionally showing in ASCA breed shows (in which she currently had her 1 st Major at the Harvest Moon Shows). Watch for her with Jessica in 2008!
Wizard- Vinelake Collinswood Oz, the newest addition to the Collinswood pack. Also bred and co-owned by Sandy Johanson, it says a lot about her breeding program that I own 2 of her wonderful dogs! Wizard is growing up quickly, and is having the time of his life playing with big sister, Deuce. He started his Conformation Career with a bang taking Best Puppy 2 out of 3 days at the Harvest Moon ASCA shows last fall. I’ve begun puppy agility with him and of course, he loves it! He also is aspiring to herd sheep.Watch for him to make a lot of heads turn in the near future!
